Preparation/Recovery

Not enough is made of how to truly prepare for a training session/ practice/game. Athletes will be exposed to appropriate warmup exercises and optimal way-of-life habits throughout the course of a day/ week critical for any high level aspiring athletes.

Skill Development

From a skill perspective we primarily focus on shooting technique, correct basketball posture, and footwork off the catch + on the dribble.

Conceptual Development

Basketball is a simple yet complex game. We focus on a range of concepts from playing in the post to playing on the perimeter as well as defensive, transitional and zone concepts. Players are taught how to play out of Pindowns, DHO’s, Pick and Roll, and how to operate in Drive + Kick/ Iso situations.

Off-Court

Perhaps more important than the on-court development is the development of the players as young adults. This includes pressuring athletes to take accountability for their communication and scheduling, as well as holding them accountable for their work ethic, consistency, timeliness, and overall professionalism. We understand that basketball is truly a vessel for life lessons!
